Mercedes-Benz Canada has been recognized as one of this year’s Best Workplaces in Canada.
The list of “Best Workplaces in Canada” is compiled by Great Place to Work Institute Canada. The competition process is based on two criteria: two-thirds of the total score comes from a 58-statement survey completed by a random selection of employees, along with their open-ended comments about their organization; the remaining one-third of the score comes from an in-depth review of the organization’s culture, including an evaluation of HR policies and procedures.
“Having worked in other organizations where Great Place to Work was already implemented, I knew when I first joined Mercedes-Benz Canada in May 2016 that the overall employee attitude and the tangible passion present in this organization could be strong supporting factors for a Great Place to Work nomination,” said Brian D. Fulton, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Canada. “Together, we have successfully introduced many important programs and initiatives that have made it an even better place for all of us to come to work at every day. I am extremely proud that our Mercedes-Benz Canada colleagues are happy to be employed here. I am equally delighted that we were able to earn a respectable spot on the ‘Best Workplaces in Canada’ list in our first year.”
