A Fitting Tribute

The Automotive Business School of Canada pays homage to an exceptional leader.

When Dr. Marie-Noelle Bonicalzi, announced her retirement as Dean of the Automotive Business School of Canada (ABSC), it marked the end of an era. In tribute to a remarkable person who joined what was then the Canadian Automotive Institute (CAI) in 1993, Bonicalzi was given a special tribute address at the 8th annual ASBC Alumni Reception on February 16.

Surrounded by former colleagues, students and friends, Bonicalzi recalled an incredible career in academia and how a background and passion in business and automotive retailing allowed her to forge a path in helping create what has become the premier Automotive Education centre of its kind in Canada.

Today, with its tailored graduate and diploma programs, extensive partnerships and relationships across the industry, including CADA, AIA and OMVIC, the Automotive Business School of Canada enjoys an incredible 90 percent placement rate of graduating students within the automotive industry.
