Well-known Greater Toronto Area-based automotive family announces motorsport ambitions.

The Policaro Automotive Family, one of Ontario’s better-known dealer groups, has thrown their hat into the racing ring with the debut of Policaro Motorsport.

In partnership with Alegra Motorsports, Policaro will enter into the four endurance races of the 2017 IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship at Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen and Atlanta. Team drivers include Daniel Morad, Jesse Lazare, Michael Christensen, and Michael de Quesada.

Sports Cars Boutique’s SCB Racing will also be fielding a Policaro Motorsport-sponsored vehicle: a BMW M235iR (piloted by Michael Adams) that will be entered in the 2017 Canadian Touring Car Championship in the ST Class.
