The automotive world comes to Paris.
While the Paris Motor Show (Mondial de l’Automobile 2016), which runs from Oct 1 – 16, is packed full of concepts, debuts, and exciting innovations and technologies, sometimes the excitement takes place before the show even begins.
During the Mercedes-Benz Media Night, which took place on the eve of the “Mondial de l’Automobile 2016,” in Paris, France, Mercedes-Benz introduced the world to the new Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster.
The open-top two-seater will be available in two versions when it debuts in 2017. In the AMG GT Roadster base model, the AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo produces 476 hp, while the GT C Roadster peaks at 557 hp.
“AMG customers love the GT – no wonder we keep expanding the model family,” said Ola Källenius, Member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG responsible for Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing and Sales.
