Calgary’s auto industry professionals learn from some of the brightest business minds in Canada.
Following conference dates in Toronto and Montreal, DealerTalkX visited Calgary on Oct. 6th. Canadian car dealers, auto industry professionals and the media enjoyed a day of insight, information and networking.
One of the many topics covered during the day was social media. Keynote speaker, Scott Stratten, an entrepreneur, social media influencer and author of UnMarketing, said that while social media has a place in business, it can’t replace the traditional sales funnel. He spoke about his experience in marketing when he was tasked with getting information from potential customers.
Another presenter, Ryan Holtz of Ryan Holtz Marketing Consulting and Training, said that those dealers not using social media are missing out on a huge potential opportunity.
