The Canadian Collision Industry Forum (CCIF) has announced that registration is open for a workshop that will be conducted by Steve Trapp, North American Strategic Accounts Manager at Axalta Coating Systems.

A part of CCIF Business Development Series Workshops, the session will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 4 pm to 7 pm.

Titled “Make More Money: Optimize Gross Profit”, Trapp’s workshop will provide an overview of how gross profit can be optimized on a “Drive for 45% gross profit.” During the session, the discussion will centre around reviewing weighted gross profit and the major drivers of sales mix and gross profit per department. CCIF adds that the key moments of truth to drive results will be highlighted during the workshop. Other matters to be discussed are how to drive sales mix and optimal sales performance, including topics like repairing plastics. What drives cost and how do they affect profitability are some factors that will be reviewed during the session. The workshop will end with a pre-closing and closing review of the process.

Those who register for CCIF Toronto can attend the workshop free of charge. Others who wish to attend just the workshop may register for $100 per participant. CCIF adds that seats are limited. All interested parties need to reserve their spot by sending an email request to [email protected].
