The Fix Network recently announced that Fix Auto Vaudreuil and Fix Auto Montreal West raised more than $17,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) in Montreal.

Stéphane Cirurso, owner of both facilities, along with his business partner Roberto Consenza, wished to support the cause after they saw the requirement of families that have sick children. Therefore, along with his team, Cirurso hosted a successful casino night on October 18 this year. The Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Canada has been the national charity partner of the Fix Network and its family of brands from 2016.

“I wanted to do our part to help RMHC and thought raising funds with a casino night would be a fantastic way to do so,” said Cirurso.

His casino event pulled in more than 100 people who wished to contribute to the good cause. Attendees included his family, friends, shop team members, customers, suppliers, corporate staff and other Fix Auto franchise strategic partners.

“I was completely overwhelmed by the generosity of our guests; $17,321.40 raised in one night is outstanding,” noted a happy Cirurso. “RMHC is such an incredible organization and so dedicated to families during very difficult times. Our team is committed to giving back to our community and this was an amazing evening doing just that.”

As explained by the network, the RMHC network of programs in Canada works hard to help over 25,000 families remain with their sick children to provide care every year. Out-of-town families can stay at the 15 Ronald McDonald Houses when their children are being treated in a hospital close by. Families can also rest and recharge inside hospitals in the 17 comfortable McDonald Family Rooms.

Cirurso added, “I want to thank our sponsors, Advantage Parts Solution and LKQ Corporation, as we wouldn’t have been able to produce this event without them. I also want to thank our corporate team as well as Raphaëlle Genest and Jacqueline Malet from the Ronald McDonald House of Montreal who helped organize and volunteer. A special thanks also goes out to my family and my teams at the shops who volunteered all night and helped us raised this incredible amount for a truly worthy cause.”
