The Women’s Industry Network (WIN) has announced details regarding its upcoming Educational Conference in 2020.
The 2020 conference is scheduled to take place in Newport Beach, California from May 3 to 5.
The theme of the 2020 conference is “Driving the Future”. This annual event provides a platform to bring together education, connection and celebration of collision industry professionals.
“Being held in one of the most iconic locations in California, Newport Beach is an ideal place for our members to gather,” says Wendy Rogers, WIN Conference Committee Co-Chair. “The selected hotel provides all we need for our new and prior attendees to engage and participate in the conference events.”
The venue for the event was announced at the 2019 Conference; members will gather at the Hyatt Regency hotel located in Newport Beach. According to a release by WIN, the conference area at the venue is abundantly spacious and is able to comfortably accommodate the growing membership of the organization while providing a resort-like feeling.
With the conference scheduled to begin on Sunday, WIN returns to its former meeting format tradition. “We are excited to return to a Sunday evening start to conference, and kick off with an engaging networking welcome reception,” explains Rogers. “Look for more changes in this year’s agenda including the 2020 WIN Gala closing the conference on Tuesday evening.”
The focus of the educational sessions at the event will be on industry issues and professional development. Additionally, recipients of the Most Influential Women awards, as well as WIN scholarships will be honoured at the celebratory gala dinner. WIN also plans to include the Scholarship Walk fundraiser on the agenda for the 2020 conference.
Registrations for the event will open early in 2020. The organization will announce further details as they become available.
