The Fix Network raised more than $35,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Canada during the course of its annual regional meetings held across Canada in fall.
It is customary for the network’s family of brands to come together in each region during fall to discuss operations, receive business updates and network with other franchise partners, as well as connect with insurance and supplier partners. During these meetings, all attendees enthusiastically undertake fundraising activities for RMHC. This year, all regions were collectively able to raise $36,173.
Every regional team held unique fundraising events in order to donate to the Fix Network’s national charity partner—RMHC. Besides franchise strategic partners, the corporate staff, guests and supplier partners who attended the events also took part to do the needful.
The total contribution from each region is as follows:
- British Columbia—$5,000
- Alberta/Saskatchewan—$5,000
- Ontario/Manitoba—$10,550
- Quebec—$13,000
- Atlantic Canada—$2,623
“Thanks to the generosity of our franchise strategic partners as well as meeting guests, we surpassed our total from last year by over $7,000,” said Alexandra Zalec, Vice President of Marketing for Fix Network Canada. “We are very proud to partner with RMHC as their commitment to keeping families close while their children receive medical treatment at nearby hospitals is so inspiring. They assist families in many communities where we operate, and this local support is very important to us.”
The Fix Network raises tens of thousands of dollars for RMHC throughout the year besides the fundraising at its regional meetings. Additionally, the Fix Network team not only donates a great number of ‘wish list’ items but also volunteers several hundred hours at the Houses throughout Canada.
