Uni-Select has announced the resignation of Chris Adamas from the position of President and Chief Operating Officer (CEO) of its subsidiary FinishMaster, effective from October 31, 2019.
The company notes in a release that Rob Molenaar will be stepping in to fill the position of President and CEO for an interim period. In the meantime, Uni-Select has already begun an internal and external search for a new leader to take up the position at FinishMaster.
Uni-Select states that Molenaar brings with him considerable industry-specific and restructuring expertise into his current new role. He has in-depth knowledge of the automotive refinish sector, with more than 25 years of experience with a global paint manufacturer to back him. Since its inception in January 2019, Molenaar has played a crucial part in developing and executing the broad performance improvement and rightsizing plan for the FinishMaster U.S. segment. Since 2017, Molenaar has also held a position on Uni-Select’s Board of Directors.
“We thank Chris for his contribution to FinishMaster U.S. and wish him all the best in the next phase of his career,” said Brent Windom, President and Chief Executive Officer of Uni-Select.
