The Fix Network family of British Columbia conducted its annual Regional Meeting and tradeshow on October 4 and 5.
Franchise partners from all three brands—Fix Auto, NOVUS Glass and Speedy Auto Service—supplier partners and corporate staff attended the meeting to receive updates, talk about operations and network with other attendees. A total of 110 guests were present at the event.
An evening reception and tradeshow, filled with ample networking and socializing opportunities, kicked off the event on October 4. The next day had a full schedule consisting of presentations, updates and an in-depth Q & A session.
Steve Leal, President & CEO of Fix Network World was unable to address the B.C. team in person. Therefore, he shared his message through a pre-recorded video which was played at the beginning of the meeting, providing the network’s national and global updates. The network maintained a regional focus for the remaining part of the meeting, covering three key areas of business: Operations, Marketing and Sales. In an open forum, all shop owners also got the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.
“Our commitment is to our franchise strategic partners; supporting their businesses by helping them navigate this rapidly evolving industry, succeed and grow,” said Chris Peterson, Regional Vice President Fix Network British Columbia, Alberta & Saskatchewan.
The Fix Network recognizes and honours its members every year for reaching significant milestones of serving their communities. In the regional meeting this year, three shops from B.C.—Burnaby South, Port Moody and Vernon North—were presented with the 10 Year Milestone award.
“Our BC shop owners once again this year had great questions and we as an organization encourage open dialogue not only during this annual event, but every day throughout the year. A lot of Fix Network’s success is based on the knowledge and feedback we gain from our franchise strategic partners; the strength of our network is rooted in these important, collaborative partnerships,” said Peterson in conclusion.
