Axalta has announced the details of its event plan for the 2019 SEMA Show that will be held from November 5 to 8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Axalta will be located at booth #22391 in Hot Rod Alley, Central Hall at the venue. The company plans to showcase its expertise in coatings colour and technology, treating attendees to exhibits featuring styling, matching and application of automotive colour.
Axalta will be launching its Spies Hecker Permahyd 2K Sealer 5650 at the SEMA Show. The company explains that this single-visit application sealer is designed to deliver a decreased application time to 3-5 minutes with blowers from the industry average of 20 minutes. A part of the Spies Hecker refinish system, this waterborne sealer has been created to increase productivity in the booths of busy collision repair shops. At the Axalta booth, an application video will be available for viewing that will demonstrate how quickly a quality finish can be completed.
Visitors at the Axalta booth will also be able to see the colour samples and popular trends on display. They will also have the opportunity to test their colour matching skills to check how quickly they are able to apply colour to improve productivity. Axalta will also show attendees how the company can aid in enhancing shop performance.
Also on display will be a 1966 Dodge Charger in Axalta’s 2019 Colour of the Year, Sahara. The company has partnered with automotive builder Mike Rutter of Rutterz Rodz to custom-build the car which will debut at the show.
Two of the most awarded custom vehicles in the U.S. will be showcased with the Charger. FastLane Rod Shops, builder of a 1932 Ford Victoria (Vicky), and Mike Goldman Customs, builder of a 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle, will display their Axalta-coated vehicles in the company’s booth at SEMA.
