The Fix Network Franchise Strategic partners from Alberta and Saskatchewan came gathered in Calgary for the annual Regional Meeting and Tradeshow on September 27 and 28.

Shop owners from all three segments of the network—Fix Auto, NOVUS Glass and Speedy Auto Service—attended the annual event to network, discuss operations, receive business updates and know about regional initiatives aimed at bringing more business into their shops.

“Our top priority is to do everything we can to help each of our strategic partners to operate successful businesses that will continue to thrive in an increasingly complex industry,” said Chris Peterson, Regional Vice President Fix Network British Columbia, Alberta & Saskatchewan.

The event began with a tradeshow on the first evening. Shop owners got the opportunity to discuss products, services and new technologies being offered by Fix Network’s supplier partners. Explaining the value of supplier partners, the network states in a release that they are necessary for the regular operations and success of each shop.

The second day of the event had a jam-packed agenda as all attendees received updates from the corporate team for the three important areas of business—Operations, Marketing and Sales. The network is committed to offering comprehensive support to its shops operating under its banner. Shop owners under each brand also had the chance to attend break-out sessions in the afternoon that were designed specifically for them. The owners were able to direct brand-specific queries to the corporate staff members and receive relevant updates for their business operations.

The attendees also had the chance to listen to guest speaker Barb Moses, Founder and CEO of High5 Leadership. Moses put together an inspirational presentation for the audience on leadership, motivation, organization culture, teamwork and empowerment. As explained by the network, her message was relevant for owners to achieve business goals, as well as for everyone in general who wishes to achieve personal goals.

The Fix Network recognizes and honours milestone anniversaries of its franchise strategy partners every year. This year, the milestone award was presented to Speedy Auto Service Edmonton North West for serving the community for 35 years.

“Once again, the annual Regional Meeting was a great success giving franchise strategic partners an opportunity to learn, network and share best practices with their fellow operators. We are already looking forward to the event next year,” said Peterson, in conclusion.
