Pro Spot has announced a trade-up promotion for loyal customers who wish to purchase the company’s new i4s Smart Spot Welder, effective from October 1 through to November 30.
As explained by the company, customers who currently own the i4 spot welder will be offered Trade-In credit that can be used to purchase the new i4s Smart Spot Welder. The company states in a release that this promotion is the first of its kind in the industry, being offered for one of the most advanced and productive spot welders.
Launched in 2018, the Smart Spot Welder can be used by collision repair shops to meet current demands and tackle the different vehicle materials.
Based on the condition of the current i4 spot welder, shops may receive a trade-in credit of up to $5000 which can be used to purchase the i4s. Pro Spot explains that the i4 welder will be evaluated by an authorized distributor who will do the inspection in the shop on the basis of the company’s Trade-Up checklist. The appropriate Trade-Up credit will be decided on the spot. All details of this procedure are taken care of by the distributor, who can also have the brand new i4s delivered quickly.
With an i4 welder that doesn’t work or is in a poor condition, repair shops are eligible to receive a guaranteed Trade-Up credit of $2000. A good condition i4 welder can be exchanged for a Trade-Up credit of $3500, whereas an i4 welder in excellent condition will fetch a $5000 credit.
Pro Spot explains that it will be refurbishing all the trade-in i4 welders. They will then be sold to Trade and Vocational Schools to help them in delivering spot welding technology and training to the new generation of technicians.
The i4s Smart Spot Welder features a new welding gun style that is equipped with an on-gun screen and controls. Pro Spot has designed the equipment with a full 360º weld arm rotation. Technicians can learn to operate the i4s quickly with its On-Board Video Training. The smart welder also contains built-in WiFi with which technicians may automatically download new software updates for the equipment. Additionally, they can also use the WiFi to digitally send weld log information quickly.
