CARSTAR has announced the addition of a new repair facility in Grand Prairie, Alberta—CARSTAR Don Golden’s.
Located at 12624, 99 Street, Grand Prairie, Don Golden’s has been serving the area for more than 35 years now. New owner Shane Daerden is taking over from the facility’s previous owners who are set to retire. Daerden intends to carry forward the legacy of the shop.
“The team of technicians and front end staff that Don and Debbie put together are first class the whole way,” says Daerden. “From quality of work to customer service and mutual respect for each other the team is best-in-class and I feel privileged to have the opportunity to lead this team, now with the added support of CARSTAR.”
The facility is currently operated by seasoned team members—General Manager Jerry Walker and Office Manager Aimee Lindstrom. Spread out over an 11,000 sq ft area, the facility is amply equipped to handle repairs on all makes and models. The facility also has I-CAR certification for repairing aluminum.
“Before joining the CARSTAR family, Shane did his research and spoke with current franchise partners and learned what we are all about,” says Mike Piper, Western Zone Director, CARSTAR. “I am always excited when thoughtful franchise partners like this join because their values align with ours and they can bring the CARSTAR experience to their community.”
CARSTAR Don Golden’s is a firm believer in supporting the community it serves and intends to actively continue its charitable work. The team gives back to the community by supporting local non-profit youth sports teams, Grand Spirit Foundation and community events throughout the year.
