The Collision Advice Legacy Group Cooperative has recently named ALLDATA as a “Preferred Partner” for providing repair information technology.
According to a release by ALLDATA, Collision Advice honours only limited number of vendors with the “Preferred Partner” designation. The Board of Directors of the group select those vendors that have exceeded standards of excellence in catering to the needs of collision repair shops.
As stated by ALLDATA, members of Axalta Coating Systems Business Council groups came together to form the Collision Advice Legacy Group. The group is headed by Mike Anderson, who serves as the President and Chairman of Collision Advice and the Facilitator of the Business Councils. Anderson is not only a well-known presenter but also an industry expert, consultant and instructor, notes ALLDATA.
The group collaborates with Axalta’s customers to aid in enhancing its members’ performance and profitability. Within the settings of the Business Council, members of the group study the financials of shops, identify current trends in the collision industry and research on the safe and proper methods of performing collision repairs. Additionally, Collision Advice also focuses on leveraging its members’ buying power on certain products and services.
Anderson considers researching OEM procedures as one of the most important aspects of collision repair. According to him, both the customers and the repairs shops will be at risk if repairers do not have the appropriate information on how to repair a vehicle properly and safely.
“ALLDATA was selected as a ‘Preferred Partner’ by the members of the Collision Advice Legacy Group not only for its leadership position in the automotive industry’s repair information sector, but also for the technical innovation of its products and services, including the award-winning ALLDATA Collision Advantage,” says Anderson.
ALLDATA Collision and Estimate Integration are combined into ALLDATA Collision Advantage which works with all three of major estimating systems. ALLDATA Collision Advantage performs swift analysis of estimates to check whether they are OEM-compliant, providing technicians with the information required to repair vehicles appropriately as per manufacturer specifications. Additionally, it provides documentation that helps shops be reimbursed for repairs required by manufacturers.
According to ALLDATA, the following are delivered by the program on a single screen:
- OEM Alerts
- Access to OEM Procedures
- Vital Repairs
- Manufacturer Positioning Statements
“We’re very pleased to be recognized by Collision Advice as a ‘Preferred Product’ provider,” says Satwinder Mangat, President of ALLDATA. “Mike Anderson is one of the industry’s most respected experts and has been a close ally of ALLDATA for many years. While the majority of his members are already ALLDATA customers, we look forward to welcoming new Collision Advice members to ALLDATA with special discounts on products and services.”
