The Fix Automotive Network recently announced that Fix Auto West Shore facility in Langford, British Columbia, has achieved its Canadian Collision Industry Accreditation Program (CCIAP) recognition.
The announcement was made by Thomas Maple, Regional Vice President for Fix Network British Columbia. The team at the West Shore facility is the latest of several Fix Auto shops across Canada that received their CCIAP accreditation, a program managed by the Automotive Industries Association (AIA) of Canada.
For Ian Franklin, owner of Fix Auto West Shore, the rigorous standards of training required to earn the CCIAP accreditation was his top priority. “The commitment it takes to achieve our CCIAP recognition was well worth it,” says Franklin. “Our customers and insurance partners can rest easy knowing our team has the skills, knowledge and equipment to complete repairs for any vehicle that comes into the shop.”
The Fix Auto West Shore facility is not only CCIAP accredited but also holds I-CAR Gold Class status. Additionally, three members of its team have earned I-CAR Platinum recognition as well. Owner Ian Franklin has achieved the Platinum status as an Estimator. Team members Cody Skelly and Christopher Hambley earned their Platinum statuses as Refinish Technician and Steel Structural Technician respectively.
Commenting on the recognition earned by the West Shore facility, Maple says, “This is a great achievement for the team at Fix Auto West Shore and we are so pleased that they see the value in these important collision industry recognition programs. The AIA designed CCIAP as a third-party, neutral program to help ensure all collision facilities across the country, no matter the brand, have consistent, high-quality training to repair today’s modern vehicles; an initiative Fix Auto has supported from the very beginning. Congratulations to Fix Auto West Shore for earning their CCIAP recognition and their I-CAR Gold Class and I-CAR Platinum status.”
