Axalta Coating Systems has appointed Barry Snyder as its Senior Vice President and Chief Operations and Supply Chain Officer while Robert Roop has been promoted to the position of Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, effective immediately.

In their new roles, both leaders will be responsible for driving growth and innovation. They report directly to Robert Bryant, Chief Executive Officer at Axalta.

Barry shares my commitment to operating Axalta’s sites safely and efficiently and to driving operational excellence throughout our organization. We are thrilled to have him in this role.”

Snyder previously held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Axalta. Before joining Axalta, he served in key leadership positions at Orion Engineered Carbons, H.B. Fuller Company and Celanese.

Roop was serving as the Vice President, Technology Development for the company’s Refinish and Industrial businesses before his recent promotion. He joined the company in 2013 as the Technology Director, North America.
