Mirka announced the expansion of its Direct Electric Random Orbital Sander (DEROS) product line with the addition of its new DEROS 350CV sander.

According to the company, the product features a compact design to enable technicians to use it easily over long periods, perform small repairs, access all surfaces and areas, and lower the need for hand sanding. The tool has low vibration levels and sports a low profile which allows it to come closer to the surface. The company has created the tool keeping the health and safety of its users in mind. The 3-inch sander with a 5mm orbit is designed for swift, efficient paint removal.

The company’s mobile application, myMirka, when connected to DEROS 350CV, not only provides access to real-time information on tool vibrations, speed and usage data, but aids the user to understand and identify the ways in which it can be used efficiently.

According to the company, when the new product is used Mirka’s net abrasives and dust extraction unit, it provides a consistent scratch pattern, as well as, a dust-free workspace.
