Another industry stalwart has passed away. Don Hannah died peacefully, surrounded by family on Monday, July 29 in Burlington, Ontario.

He was the beloved husband of Ellie for almost 60 years, father to Ron (Phyllis), Susan, and Lisa (Matt) Kohler and grandfather of Kelsey, Hannah, Jane and Ryan.

A celebration of life will take place at the Dodsworth and Brown Funeral Home Burlington Chapel (2241 New Street, Burlington) on Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. with shared memories at 2:30 p.m.

Don was the President and CEO of PPG Canada but had worked for the company since 1960 as their first technical service representative. He became National Director of Sales in the ‘80s, then Director of Automotive Refinish. When he retired from PPG, he joined Painters Supply and expanded their business into Southern Ontario.

Don was also an original and active Board Member of Shad’s R & R Golf Tournament. He will certainly be missed by his many friends in the Aftermarket.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society Hamilton/Halton Region or the Salvation Army.
