CARSTAR recently announced the official launch of its Slave Lake facility in North Central Alberta.
The facility is located at 912, 6th Street NW in Slave Lake, Alta. Husband-wife duo Jeff and Karen Way own and operate the repair centre. The Ways have been a part of the collision repair industry for more than 20 years now, 13 of which they have spent in Alta. According to CARSTAR, they are able to understand the need to stay updated on advancements especially since Jeff himself is a certified repairer and painter.
“We know the industry is changing at such a rapid pace so we knew we needed additional support to help us continue to grow alongside the changing technologies in collision repair,” says Jeff. “We chose CARSTAR because we liked what the network was about in terms of quality repairs and customer service, so the ease of branding was seamless for us.”
Certified in I-CAR Gold and aluminum repairs, the CARSTAR Slave Lake facility is spread out over a 4,500 sq ft area. In a release by CARSTAR, the network states the team at the repair facility intend to ensure that their customers are able to trust that their repairs are both safe and best-in-class. For this purpose, the team wishes to continue the growth of the repair centre and earn OEM certifications as well.
“Having been in the business for so long and with Jeff being so passionate about cars, customers can trust that their cars will be repaired with quality and care,” says Mike Piper, Western Zone Director, CARSTAR. “We are happy to have this wonderful team join the CARSTAR family and I am excited to see them continue to help their community with premier repairs and more.”
Keeping up with the CARSTAR tradition of giving back to the community, the CARSTAR Slave Lake team has been a long-standing supporter of their local Rotary Club. Additionally, they have also hosted activities such as the local parade and car shows among other events. CARSTAR notes that the Ways are excited to continue with such activities and causes.
