Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes has announced the release of its new CC250 Dynamic+ Clearcoat.

According to the company, the product provides an additional clearcoat to the speed glamour category amongst premium clearcoats. The company adds that this reduces the time to provide a typical glamour clearcoat by half while at the same time offering a superior appearance.

“We are focused on our customer’s needs for coast-to-coast clear and undercoat formulas that complement our Ultra brand refinish systems,” says Brian Shenk, Marketing Director, Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes. “Customers appreciated how our CC200 Dynamic Clearcoat delivered both speed and a glamour finish. With CC250, we have turned around a similar premium speed-to-gloss clearcoat and simply lowered the VOCs for national appeal.”

The clearcoat has been created for any painter, application, and repair environment in North America, and has been designed by Sherwin-Williams to deliver consistent appearance without compromising on productivity.

The new product allows for fast application time and quick, low-temp bake cycle, which enables users to increase productivity and profit. Additionally, the CC250 Dynamic+ Clearcoat delivers excellent gloss, hold out, and appearance, according to Sherwin-Williams.

For better productivity, the new product can also be “short-baked”. No flex additives are required for flexible substrates since the CC250 Dynamic+ Clearcoat incorporates unique Ure-Flex technology.
