CARSTAR recently announced the official launch of its Calgary Springbank facility in Alberta.
Located at 80 Commercial Drive NW in Calgary, Alta., the facility has been owned and operated by Doug Ulmer and Rob Pfiefer for the past 10 years.
Shane Richer, Manager of the repair centre, has expressed his excitement at the news of joining the CARSTAR network, especially for the extra support as well as brand awareness it provides.
“Being a part of a network like CARSTAR is beneficial for us because it expands our facility’s exposure so that everyone in our community can understand our capabilities,” says Richer. “The team here is outstanding because they work hard to ensure every customer not only leaves in a safely repaired vehicle but also enjoys their service experience.”
The CARSTAR Calgary Springbank facility is spread out over an impressive 1393 sq m (15,500 sq. ft.) area. Besides having earned an FCA, a Nissan and a Kia certification, the repair centre is completely equipped and trained to perform all types of repairs. Understanding the importance and necessity to adhere to OEM guidelines, the centre is currently working on earning accreditations from Ford, Honda, Acura and Toyota as well.
“As the industry continues to evolve, it is increasingly more import to stay on top of vehicle advancements as it affects the collision repair process,” says Mike Piper, Western Zone Director, CARSTAR. “When facilities invest in the amount of training and time it takes to not only learn the processes but get certified in them for particular vehicle brands, it shows how much they care about their work and the safety of their customers.”
In a release by the network, CARSTAR says that its Calgary Springbank repair centre is located in a growing part of the city and its team is especially excited about helping and participating in the expanding community.
