Craftsman Collision has announced that it will be the title sponsor of the Craftsman Collision 2019 Canada Day Fireworks in British Columbia for the fourth consecutive year.
“We do a lot of initiatives and sponsorships at the local level, and this is a great example,” says Rick Hatswell, President, Craftsman Collision. “As a B.C.-based Canadian company with many locations throughout the Okanagan and Central B.C., we are especially happy to be sponsoring an event that celebrates Canada Day and brings families together.”
After a day of entertainment and activities from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Polson Part, the fireworks display will be the grand finale to be held at Okanagan Lake’s Kin Beach in Vernon.
“Craftsman Collision has been brightening people’s days since 1977,” says Bobbie Temple, Manager of Craftsman Collision in Vernon. “This is our once-a-year chance to brighten their nights as well.”
Craftsman Collision suggests Kin Beach and Paddlewheel Park as the best vantage points for the display. Spectators can also view the fireworks from roadside points along Bella Vista, Commonage or Bench Roads. Loudspeakers stationed nearby will allow spectators at Kin Beach to hear the music part of the presentation. Additionally, people can also hear it from a live FM simulcast on 107.5 Beach Radio.
The Craftsman Collision 2019 Canada Day Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 10:30 pm from barges present off Kin Beach. The display may be moved back to 11:00 pm in case the wind conditions are unsafe. If the unsafe conditions persist, the display will be rescheduled for the following evening.
The North Okanagan Canada Day Committee, consisting of volunteers organizing the event, has thanked Craftsman Collision for its support.
