Fix Auto has recently announced the addition of Fix Auto Thunder Bay South to its network.
In a release by Fix Auto, Daryll O’Keefe, Regional Vice President for Fix Automotive Network Ontario & Manitoba, extended his welcome to the newest member of the network. Formerly known as Badanai Motors, the collision repair facility has been serving the industry for 95 years ever since it first opened its doors in 1924.
“It’s this rich history in the industry that makes us so excited to welcome George Badanai and his team to the family,” says O’Keefe.
“My grandfather started the business after emigrating from Italy and it’s been in the family ever since,” says Badanai, President and Dealer Principal of Badanai Motors. He officially purchased the business from his father in 1992 and has worked towards maintaining its high standards of customer service and quality repair work. Fix Auto Thunder Bay contains the latest equipment necessary to help technicians perform repairs. They include two paint booths, one full downdraft and one semi downdraft, two new downdraft prep stations as well as a new Blackhawk Power Pro 3000 dedicated frame bench. The customer waiting-lounge has also been recently renovated to provide a clean, modern look and feel, complementing the newly installed shop equipment.
Badanai decided to join Fix Auto because of the brand’s recognition and advertising, positive industry reputation, strong insurance partner relationships and overall professionalism, among other reasons.
“We have been around for a long time, so choosing to partner with a banner was not a decision we took lightly,” explains Badanai. “Fix Auto’s national presence and reputation in the Canadian collision repair industry is what sets them apart.”
Hoping to push forward the success of its franchise strategic partners, Fix Auto continuously works on new and better systems to help with streamlining each partner shop’s operations and management. In a release by the company, Fix Auto says that it remains the most recognizable brand in the industry due to its innovative national and local marketing initiatives.
O’Keefe concludes, “We are really looking forward to our partnership with George and the entire team as they continue to grow their business as Fix Auto Thunder Bay South. It’s not often a business in any industry lasts 95 years and remains successful today. It’s a true testament to their dedication to quality service, customer satisfaction and overall commitment to the industry.”
