The Automotive Industries Association (AIA) of Canada has announced the appointment of Caroline Lacasse as Director, Canadian Collision Industry Forum (CCIF).
The appointment was completed by AIA after a nation-wide search with high levels of interest being expressed by professionals throughout the industry.
Lacasse has been a part of the automotive industry for over 20 years now. Her special focus has been on training and organizational development. She is aware of multiple facets of the collision repair industry, having previously worked as a collision repair technician and teacher, an I-CAR instructor, university lecturer, and as a training coordinator for CSMO-Auto in Quebec.
She also has a diploma in collision repair and electronics, a certificate in adult learning from the University of Sherbrooke, and a Ph.D. in organizational psychology from the University of Montreal. Lacasse currently holds the position of chairperson of the Quebec I-CAR Committee.
