CARSTAR invited independent collision repair facility owners to its exclusive ‘Discovery Day’ event in Regina, Saskatchewan.

The company planned the event with the aim of informing independent owners regarding the benefits of being a part of its family. Over 20 independent collision repair owners from Saskatchewan were in attendance.

The network shared the story of its brand, informed facility owners about the potential support available to them and also highlighted the benefits of its banner. Key CARSTAR vendors partners who attended the event helped in sharing the partner benefits for CARSTAR’s franchise family as well.

“CARSTAR is coming to Saskatchewan and we are so excited to have independent repair centre owners eager to join our family and take advantage of all the benefits that come with it,” said Collin Welsh, Director of Franchise Development, CARSTAR. “As a public insurance market, many owners do not see a value in joining a national brand like CARSTAR, so it was an honour to spend time in Regina and highlight how we can help.”

Some key CARSTAR leaders who attended the ‘Discovery Day’ were—Michael Macaluso, President; Collin Welsh, Director of Franchise Development; Jeff Labanovich, General Manager; Mike Piper, Zone Director; Andrew Northrup, Area Manager of Operations; Jennifer Benner, Senior Marketing Manager and Denise VanderVeen, National Project Manager.

“We are seeing more franchise partners join CARSTAR because of a variety of reasons, from our proprietary online training tool, CARSTAR University, to our renowned operations performance platform, EDGE, our team has a lot to offer” said Michael Macaluso, President, CARSTAR. “CARSTAR is a family of family businesses so it was an honour to share our values with these attendees so they could understand our model of locally owned and operated facilities.”

The CARSTAR network currently operates over 600 locations across North America. Additionally, it is a part of the greater Driven Brands organization, which has over 2,500 franchises in total. Hoping to accelerate its growth in 2019, the network says it’s especially eager to welcome new independent storeowners that prioritize premier service and expert repairs into its franchise family.
