Father-son duo Joshua and Bernard Michaud have officially opened CARSTAR St. Paul in Northeast Alberta.

The facility is located at 4728, 55 Ave in St. Paul.

The Michauds have been operating their own family-run facility in the area since 1985. Exposed to the industry from a young age, Bernard says he understands the requirements and challenges of running a premier collision repair facility.

“Seeing the way the industry is moving, my father and I knew we would need to join a network but we wanted to make sure we partnered with a brand that would maintain our reputation,” explains Bernard Michaud. “I am excited to be a part of the CARSTAR family because they have that top of the line image which aligns with what my dad has worked so hard to build here in St. Paul.”

Bernard, the official owner of the business since June 2018, has been actively working with his team to continue advancing collision repair services. CARSTAR St. Paul’s 8000 square foot facility offers glass repairs and replacement in addition to full collision repairs.

“When a family-run business, that has a longstanding local reputation, wants to join the CARSTAR team–it is incredibly encouraging to me because it means we are doing something right here,” says Mike Piper, Western Zone Director, CARSTAR. “The CARSTAR team is dedicated to upholding our commitment to provide premier customer experiences as well as expert repairs, and it is because of hardworking people like Joshua Michaud that we are able to deliver on those promises.”

The CARSTAR St. Paul team intends to be actively involved in CARSTAR’s community welfare programs, such as providing sleigh rides during the holiday season. Bernard and Joshua also wish to support CARSTAR’s preferred charity, Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
