Daryll O’Keefe, General Manager for Fix Automotive Network Ontario and Manitoba, has announced two new locations to the network in Ontario.
Fix Auto Thornhill and Fix Auto Oak Ridges, both located on the northern periphery of the Greater Toronto Area are owned and operated by Tony Taj, who has been in the industry since 1996.
Taj became a shop owner about six years ago and says that, “before getting into the collision industry, I actually started out as an auto service technician and spent five years working at a Speedy Auto Service.
Taj later moved into the collision industry, first as a prepper, then assistant manager and appraiser and then moved up from there until eventually owning his own shop.
“Joining Fix Auto was a strategic move,” says Taj. “I wanted access to the extensive agreements Fix Auto has in place with many major insurance partners; plus the territory I was interested in had excellent growth potential.
“Fix Auto treats their shop owners as entrepreneurs, not just numbers,” added Taj.
Taj has invested heavily into new equipment into both locations, including new aluminum, MIG and spot welders, new measuring systems, a new aluminum station, plus new equipment from Pro Spot.
The teams at both locations are currently working toward their I-CAR Gold Class which can then be applied to their Canadian Collision Industry Accreditation Program (CCIAP) recognition.
“Our entire team at both shops are dedicated to ensuring we have the most up-to-date training available so we can serve our customers with the highest quality collision repair services possible,” said Taj.
O’Keefe added, “we are very pleased to welcome Tony and the teams at Fix Auto Thornhill and Oak Ridges to the network. Tony’s enthusiasm for the brand and the industry along with his team’s commitment to outstanding customer service and high-quality repairs adds great value to our entire Fix Auto family across the country. We’re really looking forward to working with Fix Auto Thornhill and Oak Ridges as they continue to grow their business.”
