Fix Automotive Network (FAN) including its portfolio of brands—Fix Auto, Speedy Auto Service and NOVUS Glass brands, raised $28,510 for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Canada during its annual regional meetings, held from coast to coast.

Each fall, Fix Automotive Network brings together franchise owners, corporate staff, insurance and fleet partners, and valued suppliers at regional meetings across the country.

These important annual events are designed to not only provide attendees with the opportunity to receive the latest business and industry information as well as to network and find business opportunities, but also to raise money and awareness for RMHC.

“We are so honoured to be partnered with such an amazing organization,” said Steve Leal, President & CEO of Fix Automotive Network World. “With that, I am very pleased to announce that our partnership with RMHC has expanded to include the entire FAN Canada family of Fix Auto, Speedy Auto Service and NOVUS Glass.”

By expanding the partnership with RMHC to include all FAN Canada brands, the aim is to increase awareness and recognition of the work performed by the charity by helping more families and enabling more children to heal.

“Thanks to the generosity of our franchise strategic partners, we raised a total of $28,510 during our regional meeting events this year,” said Alexandra Zalec, Vice President of Marketing for Fix Automotive Network Canada. “It’s exciting to think of how much more we can achieve for RMHC Canada families and communities in the future, with all of our automotive brands’ support.”

Each 2018 FAN regional meeting entailed a RMHC Canada fundraising initiative; from silent auctions to prize raffles, meeting delegates dug deep and donated generously.

  • The British Columbia team raised $3,130
  • The Alberta/Saskatchewan team raised $4,000
  • The Ontario/Manitoba team raised $10,280
  • The Quebec team raised $10,000
  • The Atlantic team raised $1,100

Fix Auto has partnered with RMHC on a national level since June 2016. Since that time, there have been hundreds of volunteer hours clocked by shop teams and corporate staff at Ronald McDonald Houses across the country, a multitude of ‘wish list’ items donated, and tens of thousands of dollars raised for the organization that keeps families close while their children receive medical treatment at nearby hospitals.

“Working with the Fix Auto team for the past two years has been wonderful, and we’re so excited that our partnership has now expanded to include Speedy Auto Service and NOVUS Glass,” commented Kate Horton, Executive Director for RMHC Canada. “On behalf of the over 25,000 families who stay at Ronald McDonald Houses across Canada each year, we remain grateful to entire Fix Automotive Network for their commitment and support—from our families to yours, thank you.”
