While 3D frame alignment benches occupied centre stage at the Car Bench display during SEMA, Filice, whose company distributes these types of equipment, including Car Bench products in the province of Quebec, wanted to chat with Collision Management regarding the impact of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) on collision repair shops.

The specialized collision repair equipment and service provider has always stressed the importance of technical training. While the recent launch of the sprawling Filco training centre is a testament to his unwavering commitment, he wants to take things even further.

“Advanced driver-assistance systems are here to stay, so it’s important that every collision repair facility be equipped with a frame alignment bench,” said Filice. “What’s more, technicians must be able to use this equipment to ensure that the technologically advanced vehicles with which they have been entrusted are delivered back to customers with fully functioning safety systems.”

Not only does Les Équipements et Services Filco distribute this type of equipment, the company has also dedicated a section of its training centre to disseminate knowledge and showcase this technologically advanced equipment.
