Axalta Coating Systems put the spotlight on two products in particular at this year’s SEMA Show—both waterborne, but with different applications.

Cromax EZ, which came our earlier this year, is the company’s easy-to-use waterborne. According to a company spokesperson, it’s easy to mix, easy to match and easy to apply. It sprays just like a solvent, making the transition to waterborne easy and seamless.

The other product line, Spies Hecker, is well positioned for Axalta’s MSO segment where the need to get a lot of cars through the shop quickly is paramount. In short, it’s a better choice when productivity is key.
