Included in the record breaking 400 delegates, the Fix Auto Canada team did not disappoint attending in large numbers for the latest Canadian Collision Industry Forum held on May 25 in Montreal.
Focusing on three pillars: Profitability, People and Vehicle Technology, CCIF brought the collision industry together to share opinions, ideas and best practices.
Brigitte Pesant, Automotive Industries Association (AIA) of Canada Director of Collision Programs opened CCIF Montreal by welcoming all delegates from across the industry for a full day of presentations and interactive panel discussions. “The CCIF provides a national venue for industry stakeholders to develop solutions for issues that are common to the industry,” said Pesant.
Fix Auto regularly attends CCIF events across Canada both to show support and to gain valuable insights on how to better prepare for the rapidly changing industry. This gathering was no different seeing a room full of Fix Auto attendees unified wearing the same branded shirts. “Our turnouts are something to be proud of,” said Steve Leal, President & CEO of Fix Auto World and AIA board member. “We believe strongly in the benefits the forums provide to us in the collision industry.”
Training, certifications, advancing vehicle technology and fraud in the collision repair industry were the themes throughout the forum and led to an array of dynamic presentations followed up by thought-provoking questions from the attendees. Insurance industry experts also pointed out that a consistent, modern, well branded waiting area and clean washrooms enhance the overall customer experience at the shop level; something Fix Auto rigorously promotes within its network.
Fix Auto Canada’s Yves Roy, General Manager—Quebec, was one of the panelists participating in a discussion regarding collision repairers and the three elements of profitability: administration, production and marketing. Roy spoke passionately about the impact of these elements on the business and how Fix Auto corporately supports these with their franchise strategic partners’ success.
The Fix Auto delegation of franchise strategic partners, along with regional and head office staff, gained valuable insights from each presentation and the panels. “Our teams look forward to each CCIF held across Canada,” said Leal, “I’m always impressed by the timely information shared at CCIF which helps to keep our team up-to-date on industry news and trends.”
