The Boyd Group (parent company of Ontario-based Assured Automotive) recently announced that it had acquired a multi-store operation located in Sudbury, Ont., consisting of four collision repair centres.

The centres in question were previously operated by the Nero Family as Regent Autobody.

“We are very excited to add these new locations, which have served the Sudbury market well for over 30 years,” said Tony Canade, President of Assured Automotive.

“We look forward to becoming part of these communities and the opportunity to provide the friendly service and quality repairs that Assured is known for.”

“With this acquisition in Sudbury, which is about 4 hours north of the Greater Toronto Area, we are now better positioned to serve our customers and insurance partners in northern Ontario. We are pleased to broaden our reach in the province and we look forward to increasing our footprint with additional locations in the surrounding markets,” added Canade.
