In 2016, Fix Auto announced its corporate commitment to AIA Canada’s Canadian Collision Industry Accreditation Program (CCIAP).
The very first facility to achieve that accreditation was Fix Auto North Bay. On December 7, the shop celebrated its one year anniversary in achieve accreditation and a special ceremony saw shop staff and management, along with representatives from AIA Canada and Fix Auto, celebrate this exceptional achievement.
Continued investment
Since receiving accreditation, Fix Auto North Bay has continued to invest in training and equipment. Shop owners Peter and Karen Schoen and Business Development Manager Kelly Roberts have focused on setting benchmarks since day one. Today, the facility is equipped to handle the latest and most sophisticated vehicles.
Two examples of these vehicles, in the shape of a Cadillac CT6 equipped with Super Cruise and a Chevy Volt were on hand to illustrate the depth of the shop’s repair capability.
Above and beyond
In summarizing the occasion, Jean-Francois Champagne, President, AIA Canada, said, “this was the first CCIAP accredited facility and is the perfect location to celebrate the first anniversary of the program. Additionally, we are also here to celebrate this facility in being the first to meet the criteria for CCIAP and the aspect of going above and beyond when it comes to repairing today’s vehicles.”
Daryl O’Keefe, General Manager, Fix Auto Ontario, added “there was no effort for this shop to be accredited because it already met the criteria. If you get the opportunity to walk through Fix Auto North Bay you will see the level of investment and equipment, along with the talent of the people who work here is truly outstanding.”
