The Automotive Industries Association (AIA) of Canada has announced the appointment of France Daviault as Vice-President, AIA Canada.
Effective immediately, France will be responsible for the overall operations of the Association. France, who recently completed her accreditation from the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE) and received her CAE credentials, has been with AIA Canada since 2014 and has played a leadership role in developing strategic priorities and building high performing teams.
She will be overseeing the development of the strategic plan, ensuring efficient and successful implementation of all operational plans for membership, events, communications, research and government relations, while identifying future member programs and services.
This new organizational structure will allow Jean-Francois Champagne, President of AIA Canada, to increase his engagement with members, focus on strengthening the automotive aftermarket’s presence with government and decision makers on the Right to Repair and expand AIA Canada’s reach in the changing automotive landscape with all stakeholders.
“One of the things we celebrate here at AIA Canada is our unique organizational culture,” said JF Champagne, President. “We are convinced that France is and will be a champion of our values, an enthusiast for our culture and our potential. France brings terrific experience and a deep knowledge of the association industry.”
“I am thrilled to work for AIA Canada in this capacity and to spearhead its culture, rapid growth, and brilliant people,” said France Daviault. “It’s exciting to be part of an Association that is empowered, innovative and truly puts their people first. It is important to me to enhance the performance of the organization and bring our member value proposition to the next level.”
