During a special ceremony in the Capital Region on November 23, FinishMaster Ottawa East celebrated its official opening with over 100 customers and partners in attendance.
Using a proven business model, which has seen FinishMaster’s U.S. business expand to over 200 locations, this facility, managed by Nicole Constantineau, highlighted months of planning and development by inviting team members to dine at Three Brewers restaurant in Ottawa.
“This event celebrates the success of this first FinishMaster location in the region, but most of all, we need to thank our collision shops for making this possible, “said Constantineau.
“We have all the winning elements: dedicated business partners and a team of seasoned experts with more than 30 years of experience, combined with a new generation that represents the future of our industry.”
Michel Charbonneau, Vice-President, Sales and Marketing for Uni-Select’s PBE business, was also present to highlight the success of this first FinishMaster store in the Ottawa area and to meet collision shop customers and suppliers gathered for the occasion.
“Ottawa is one of the largest automotive markets in Canada,” said Charbonneau. “There has been a real need for a location in the area and it was very important for Uni-Select to ensure a presence. The FinishMaster formula certainly had its place; we have the team to grow it and I am proud to celebrate this achievement. ”
A silent auction during the evening allowed the FinishMaster Ottawa East team to donate to Roger Nelson House, a pediatric palliative care facility.
Based at 6-2615 Lancaster Road, Ottawa, the FinishMaster Ottawa East location offers around 400,000 PBE products to collision shops in the area, along with a range of state-of-the-art equipment that meets OEM Certification requirements.
“We not only offer a complete range of products to our customers, but also complete service in the shape of technical support and assistance,” said Constantineau.
First introduced to the Canadian market in September 2016, the FinishMaster brand and business model is enabling Uni-Select to expand its North American footprint in the Paint and Body Equipment supplies sector, aided by a seasoned group of team members and partners.
