Peter Polito, General Manager for Fix Auto Western Region, has announced yet another addition to the Fix Auto Canada network, this time in Wetaskiwin, Alta.
The community is a growing prairie city located about 70 kilometres south of Edmonton. With a population of close to 13,000 and growing, Wetaskiwin has a diverse economy including the booming “Auto Mile” stated to have the highest per-capita auto sales in the country.
This long-standing facility, owned by Ed and Judy Curtis and managed by their daughter Laura Filgate, has been serving customers at its current location since 2002. The family has 60 years of experience in the collision repair industry, with 25 of those years as shop owners. Shop manager Filgate is excited to join Fix Auto Canada. “We are happy to be partnering with a strong national brand that prides itself on professionalism, which is extremely important to us,” said Filgate.
Filgate decided to join Fix Auto to help the family business grow, run more efficiently and provide even better service to their customers. The comprehensive selection of office and management tools streamline processes and complement a growing business. “We are very pleased to be able to continue to offer our customers the same great service now backed by a nationwide guarantee,” commented Filgate. Fix Auto Wetaskiwin will continue to offer commercial vehicle repairs as well as semi-truck and trailer repairs. The facility has recently added a new paint booth and wash bay, in addition to renovating their reception area.
Peter Polito added, “we are delighted to welcome Laura and her team to the Fix Auto family. Their dedication to the collision industry, pride in their workmanship and the drive to grow their business makes them a great addition to our network. We look forward to working in partnership with them.”
