Polyvance has introduced a Nitrocell Tire Adapter kit that allows owners of Nitrocell welding systems to fill an auxiliary air tank with nitrogen, which can then be used for filling passenger vehicle tires.

The Nitrocell 6066-Tire Adapter Kit comes with the required valve, tubing, restrictor and fittings needed to divert nitrogen to a storage tank from which nitrogen can be drawn (an air storage tank is required and must be purchased separately).

The nitrogen generator creates nitrogen gas that is about 97-98 percent pure. Vehicle tire pressures remain more constant when using dry nitrogen gas as opposed to air. Additionally, removing the oxygen and water vapour from the air will reduce the risk of the wheel corroding.

The Nitrocell 6066-Tire Adapter Kit provides a useful resource for shops by allowing nitrogen produced by the nitrogen generator to be used for things other than plastic welding, when the welder is not in use. It is easy to install, virtually maintenance free and will work on any nitrogen generator with a 1/4″ (6.3mm) hose.
