At its large booth display, 3M had a range of new products. Most impressive was its new on-the-road demonstration trailer. This mobile unit is designed to display the latest in automotive repair technologies.

Adaptable to the needs, it can be equipped with a functional painting chamber or a room of sandblasting. Customers and students can be introduced to and tested, depending on the circumstances, adhesive applicators, tools and products for surface preparation, painting, and varnish application.

Inside, a multipurpose room can be used and transformed for training, including I-CAR courses.

Also on display, was the new 3M mobile sand blasting unit developed in conjunction with Festool. Launched earlier this year, this mobile unit has already proved popular in high volume collision shops. Festool tools and dust extractors were also complemented by cabinets and displays that contained virtually every type of abrasive and finishing product needed.
