Mirka Canada has announced that Scott Savage has joined the team as Regional Sales Manager for Ontario & Western Canada.

Along with Johnny Girard, Savage is a part of Mirka Canada’s renewed organizational structure.

Savage and Girard will divide the management of the sales team into two regions. Girard will manage Quebec and Atlantic Canada, while Savage will manage the Ontario and Western regions.

Savage has served as a manager in several industries, including in a leadership role as Global Rotary Manager of medical devices for the dental industry for Kavo Kerr. He was previously employed as Canadian National Key Accounts for SCA, managing the Tork brand of specialty wiping materials for industrial and automotive applications.

“Scott has a broad experience from hands-on technical skills to high-level marketing,” said John Booth, President of Mirka Canada. “He is a very talented and experienced individual who can look at the market and make sure our offering and our approach aligns with our customers’ needs to ensure strong long-term partnerships.”

Regarding what he hopes to accomplish in this position, Savage said, “I will continue to foster our strategic partnerships and drive market share.”
