In response to the rapid spread of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus, Color Compass has announced that it is taking necessary steps to ensure everyone’s health and safety.

The group is constantly monitoring guidelines issued by the Canadian Government, the World Health Organization, and the various Provincial and Municipal Governments in the regions in which Color Compass operates in.

Color Compass is prioritizing the health and safety of its staff, customers and communities that the network serves and has therefore undertaken some strict procedures.

The network’s stores, warehouses and offices are being continuously cleaned and sanitizing. Color Compass has requested that visits to its facilities be made only when necessary. All delivery vehicles and products leaving its facilities are being sanitized as well.

The network is constantly reminding its staff to follow hand-washing guidelines and to keep hand sanitizers handy with them. When doing deliveries, Color Compass staff will be wearing disposable gloves. These gloves will be replaced by new ones for every new delivery.

All employees of the network have been given instructions to report immediately if they have visited high-risk areas. Color Compass has urged its team members to keep a check on their health and are expected to go home if they feel unwell. Keeping the current situation in mind, the company has extended its paid sick-leave to 14 days.

Continued service

Color Compass states in a release that the health and safety of its staff are of utmost importance to the company. Therefore, the company is urging its customers to contact their Color Compass sales representative for alternative ordering options, such as phone or email, in case their team members have been to high-risk areas. The customers may even request their sales representatives to arrange for no-contact stock deliveries.

The network notes that the supply chain is currently stable, as gathered from discussions with their key vendors. While Color Compass is currently keeping a track of the evolving situation, it does not expect any interruptions to its supply chain at this point. Color Compass also states that it is confident that its current inventory levels will allow it to address all customer demands.
