The Women’s Industry Network (WIN) has announced that it is now accepting applications for positions on its Board of Directors.
The applications will be accepted until February 28, 2020. Application requirements and other details are available on WIN’s website.
The Board acts as a support system for furthering WIN’s vision of enhancing the role of women in the collision repair industry, promoting education, professional advancement and networking.
The members of the Board belong to diverse segments of the collision repair industry, such as collision repair shops, distributors, suppliers, consultants, paint manufacturers, recyclers and insurance companies. Any WIN member in good standing can apply for a position on the board.
“Being involved in WIN whether on a committee or the Board is very rewarding. It’s a great way to give back to the industry and get involved,” notes Cheryl Boswell, WIN Chair and Chair of the Board Nominating Committee. “WIN is seeking members to apply for seats on our 2020 Board as we continue to work together to drive the future of collision repair by attracting, developing and advancing women.”
Providing an overall strategic direction to the organization is among the primary responsibilities of the WIN Board of Directors. The Board also takes key policy decisions that are directed at promoting WIN’s vision and mission.

As we enter a new decade, we are moving forward with new programs and benefits for our members and sponsors,” says Kathy Coffey, a member of the current Board, Executive Committee and Nominating Committee Co-Chair. “We encourage involvement from all segments of our industry. The Board is looking forward to hearing new voices to help us drive the future of collision repair.”
The Board updates its strategic plan annually. Every member helps in the proper execution of the latest plan. The volunteer Board members join forces to create a proper platform that enables recruitment, retention, education and networking of women in the collision repair industry.
WIN will introduce the new additions to its Board of Directors at its 2020 Educational Conference, being held from May 3-5 in Newport Beach, CA.
