Polyvance has announced that its new generation “8000-series” of nitrogen plastic welders are currently available in the market.

Since introducing the technology for the first time in 2006, the new products form the sixth generation of nitrogen welders from Polyvance. The company has explained in a release that in order to ensure that the welders are easier to use and maintain, new patent-pending technology has been used in this product line.

Some of the features included in the welders are automatic low-flow power cutoff protection, precision flow valves to enable repair technicians to adjust the flow based on the plastic’s thickness, and a direct-reading flow gauge for repeatable performance. According to Polyvance, the 8000-series welders also have a quick-change hose and wiring assembly. This enables repair shops to minimize downtime and improve productivity as a damaged hose or torch handle can be replaced easily. The company designs and builds all its nitrogen plastic welders in the U.S.

Polyvance states that the new product line has suitable options according to the need and budget of every shop. The 8000-series welders are available with either digital or analog control options. Both types are available with either a nitrogen tank or a nitrogen generator. According to Polyvance, based on the choice of the model, prices range anywhere between $1,995 and $4,895 (USD).

Polyvance is also offering unlimited access to its online video training library, its mobile app and telephone technical support with each of its new welders. Repair shops that require hands-on, instructor-led training, may also avail of Polyvance’s paid training options. Since the company is an I-CAR Sustaining Partner, the paid training includes I-CAR credits.
