Fix Auto has announced that one of the original locations to join the network—Fix Auto St-Jean—has earned its Canadian Collision Industry Accreditation Program (CCIAP) recognition.
According to the network, pursuing and acquiring CCIAP accreditation has been a crucial goal for the Fix Auto St-Jean team. Through this accreditation, the repair shop wants to inform its insurance partners and customers that it is qualified to perform quality vehicle repairs and has properly trained staff and the right equipment to do so. The CCIAP accreditation helps in establishing that the shop is currently one of the premier collision repair facilities in Canada.
Currently owned and operated by Michel Morin, Fix Auto St-Jean is a family business that was established more than 60 years ago, in 1956.
“Our family has been committed to the collision repair industry for three generations now and we’ve seen so many changes and innovations throughout the years,” says Philippe Morin, Shop Manager at Fix Auto St-Jean. “Ensuring our technicians are trained to repair today’s modern, complex vehicles is the core of our business and why our team has invested the time and energy to achieve CCIAP recognition.”
Besides training, Fix Auto St-Jean has also installed new equipment within the facility, such as a new paint booth, spot welder, digital three-dimensional measuring system and silicon bronze and aluminum MIG welder.
“The focus and vision of the Fix Auto St-Jean team to achieve their CCIAP recognition in order to continue to grow their successful business is truly aligned with the Fix Auto core values. We are proud of the St-Jean team and congratulate them on this great achievement,” says Yves Roy, Regional Vice President for Fix Network Quebec.
