Polyvance has announced a decrease in prices of its nitrogen plastic welders in a response to the new competitive environment.

The company recognizes that the market trends are signalling towards the importance of lower pricing as opposed to the in-shop courtesy training that Polyvance has traditionally offered.

Effective immediately, its nitrogen plastic welders will be available at the following prices:

  • 6085-C = $2,995.00 U.S.
  • 6080-CG = $5,295.00 U.S.

The new prices are still higher than what is offered by competitors.

“The quality of our product is better, and we are still offering free, in-shop courtesy training on these welders! You will break-even on the additional cost of our welders because your technicians will be able to use the welders more proficiently from the get-go,” explains Kurt Lammon, President, Polyvance.

An innovator in plastic repair since 1981, Polyvance first introduced its plastic welding technology to the automotive industry in 2006. The company’s sales team has strived to showcase the benefits of this technology from shop to shop across North America since 2011.

“Thanks to the efforts of the Polyvance team and their distributor partners over the past eight years, Polyvance has established nitrogen plastic welding as the go-to technology for plastic part repair, to the point where it has been accepted as part of the national SkillsUSA competition in plastic repair alongside 3M’s two-part technology. In short, nitrogen plastic welding is no longer the future of plastic repair, it is the present,” says Lammon.
