WIX Filters has announced the launch of its new Mobile Catalog app that is available for both Android and Apple users.

The app went live on February 2, 2020 and can now be downloaded from Google Play Store or App Store. It is free and features a user-friendly interface that has been designed for quick use on the mobile.

WIX Filters notes that the following sections have been included in the app’s menu:

  • Light Duty
  • Power Sport
  • On-Highway Truck & Bus
  • Off-Highway Equipment
  • Search by VIN (Light Duty Only)
  • Part Search
  • Cross Reference

The user will be able to access the complete catalogue of WIX Filters through the app. The catalogue contains a detailed list of all filtration products offered by the company. The oil, air, cabin, fuel, coolant, transmission and hydraulic filters necessary for vehicle maintenance can be found through a quick search. The app also allows the user to take a photograph of the light-duty vehicle’s VIN number when the user enables the phone’s camera access. This further helps in identifying the appropriate filters.

“Some of our customers are still dependent on the WIX printed catalogue, so we needed to provide them easier access to more accurate and up-to-date data,” said Joshua Dumas, Catalogue Manager at MANN+HUMMEL. “This mobile app allows our customers to find the right filters for any vehicle and provides a robust and easy-to-use tool for professional installers in automotive shops.”

Besides obtaining up-to-date information on the latest products and applications, users can also cross-reference filtration products through the app. To do this, the need to enter the part numbers of competitive or original equipment. This brings up the correct WIX counterpart. Additionally, for every WIX filter, the app contains detailed product information.

“WIX is proud to maintain our legacy of innovative technology as we continue to recognize our customers’ needs,” said Mike Lerch, Brand Manager for WIX Filters. “Our filters are consistently in high demand among light- and heavy-duty and industrial consumers, many of whom are on the road when they need assistance. An app gives them the information they need quickly and easily.”
