Automotive Parts Distributors (APD) has announced that its training division has concluded its 2019 calendar on December 11.

The last session held was a Toyota Technical clinic. Throughout the course of this calendar year, more than 753 students took part in APD’s training programs offered in Calgary, and Edmonton in Alberta and Saskatoon and Lloydminster in Saskatchewan.

APD states in a release that the number of these technical classes does not include the online courses that are offered through the company’s programs. In 2019, the company added two business management courses that were conducted by well-known instructors Murray Voth and Bob Greenwood.

Two clinics were also brought to the Lloydminster market. According to the company, this area had been neglected often before APD established its presence there with a new branch.

“No one can claim that the aftermarket isn’t providing tools for training,” said Zara Wishloff, VP Sales. “We were excited to see these many participants in the 2019 offering.”

To express its thanks to the technicians who attend the APD training classes, the company offers an impact wrench door prize at every clinic. The gallery of winners can be viewed on APD’s Facebook page.

The complete list of the 2020 clinics, along with information on the dates, location, topic and cost, is currently available on APD’s website. Registration for these clinics can also be done through the form available on the website.
