It was with great sadness that CarCare Business learned of the passing of industry veteran Robert (Bob) Rose.

Rose, who was the National Sales Manager of Fenco, passed away on Oct. 29 at the age of 75 surrounded by his family.

An adoring husband, predeceased by loving wife Virginia (2005) as well as a father of five, grandfather of 15, great grandfather of 10 and great, great grandfather of three, Rose will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.

Bob was a “loyal and long-time employee of Fenco and a dedicated and respected aftermarket industry veteran” said Stan Urovitz retired Vice President of Sales at Fenco. “We mourn the loss of a good friend, who was respected by co-workers and customers alike”

Rose was a long time employee with Toronto-based Fenco, spending 45 years with the company.

He served in many roles during his tenure, starting in the Shipping Department and rising through the ranks to Customer Service Manager and then into various sales roles and then as National Sales Manager for 25 years until his retirement in 2009.

Those wishing to pay their respects will have the opportunity on Saturday, November 9 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street East in Oshawa, ON (905) 721-1234.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
