Continental has announced the launch of its new OE quality replacement ATE Brake Boosters that have been created to enhance braking performance and deliver reliable brake response in all driving situations.

Continental explains in a release that its ATE Brake Boosters enable drivers to engage their brakes effectively in emergency situations and even at low pedal force.

According to the company, the brake boosters have long service life and are designed to be dependable. Features included in the boosters are high-quality materials, meticulous workmanship and a design that aids in decreasing premature abrasion, all resulting in easier braking.

Dan Caciolo, Head of Product Management for Continental Independent Aftermarket Powertrain & Brake Systems, remarks, “Brake Boosters are an important component of a vehicle’s overall brake system and ATE Brake Boosters have been designed to improve braking performance mile after mile with peak performance across the board.”

The ATE Brake Boosters, available in single or tandem design for all required sizes, are engineered for easy installation. Continental is also offering the device housings in conventional steel or in a weight-reduced aluminum. Additionally, brake assistant, pressure/vacuum sensor or position sensors are available on part of the brake boosters range.

Continental has launched more than 57 ATE Brake Booster SKUs with applications including vehicles such as Audi, BMW, Buick, Mercedes Benz, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mini, Porsche, Saab, and Volkswagen.
